The dog caught the angel a little off-guard as he indeed sat down in between his host's legs, offering him a coy glance as he set the food and drink down on the nearby table. The bottle of Jack Daniels reminded Balthazar of himself as he tended to get through many bottles in one night's sitting. It just showed that he was in familiar company.
