"Maybe I can be? We'll have to see with your eternal affection." Jack leaned into Balthazar because those words hit his heart hard; both the gravity of loving someone that long but also the fear of all of the chances to lose someone.

"My world isn't safe, I know, but I'm used to it." Jack encourages and leans into Balthazar. "Why don't you come up here and hold me so I can remember why I need to make it home safe every night?"

Now he's flirting a little to try and help soothe the angel's fears.
